Our promise to homeowners is to provide a reliable directory of contractors for remodeling projects. Founded in 2009, Remodel Connect combines the experience of BOTH sides of the industry—the technological side, and the construction side. In 2008, we saw a shift in the way homeowners do their research for remodeling their homes. In times past, a homeowner would simply open up a phonebook and start calling construction companies to receive quotes for their projects. These days, it's very easy to do 90% of the research for your project online, before even talking to any contractors.

About the Founders

Founded by two guys who work in the construction and rental industries, we've seen the need for a service that makes it simple for homeowners to connect with contractors that will actually finish the job. We've heard it too often—especially in hard times—a homeowner will settle for the first or cheapest contractor they meet. This unfortunate situation almost always spells disaster for the homeowner, as there is a surplus of unscrupulous contractors out there who are willing to take advantage of a homeowner's good will, simply because the homeowner is not adequately informed. This regrettable circumstance is, fortunately, completely avoidable.

In 2009, we've seen a downturn in the economy, which is both good and bad for homeowners. The bad is, of course, that homes have lost significant value or equity. The good news is that for those desiring a face lift on their current home, contractors are hungry for work and will bid extremely competitively.
